Fairfield by Marriott Niagara Falls, Canada

Popped in to visit my family that was staying here for a ringette tournament last weekend, and this hotel seemed very nice! The Hotel Manager was wonderful; he went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable with their stay! My only concern about the stay was my encounters with the maintenance staff (namely an older gentleman with a walkie talkie on his hip) and their gruff attitude. Didn't get a smile from them, they did not move out of the way in the halls and would bump into you when walking and was overly non-apologetic regarding these encounters.

Great location for a newly renovated Marriott Hotel right across from the Courtyard. $30/ day parking (lot behind hotel) One EV charging station parking and one (currently out of order) Tesla charging station parking a available. Check in staff were friendly and nice Check in process was quick and easy Simple breakfast complimentary from 6:30-11am. It includes your basic scrambled eggs, egg muffins, sausage links, turkey bacon, potatoes, waffles, toast, yogurt, coffee and tea. Swimming pool is inclusive at this hotel. No hot tub. But the pool is viewable from the first floor right by the lobby (not much privacy). There is also a fitness gym available. Rooms were clean and beautiful. I did however find a used soap bar left in the shower that the cleaners might have forgotten from the last guest. TV (with Prime Videos, YouTube and Netflix features), microwave, mini fridge, Keurig coffee machine, body and hair wash. USB and North American charging ports in the rooms. Great location, only minutes walk from the main Clifton Hill street.

Had a great stay at the Fairfield! Really clean, nice room, clean lobby and hallways and great breakfast options included! Every interaction with a staff member was fantastic, especially Scott and James at the front desk! Just a short walk to all the attractions on Clifton Hill. Will 100% stay again!

Although this hotel is listed as a 3-star property, the service we received was truly 5-star. After a very difficult experience at another hotel, we arrived exhausted while traveling with a child and a baby. Scott, the manager, and his entire team were phenomenal from the moment we arrived. They accommodated us immediately and went above and beyond with things that were so sincere in wanting us to have the best possible experience. More than the thoughtful gestures, it was the genuine kindness, empathy, and professionalism that stood out. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed to finally feel settled. Scott and his team completely turned our trip around. This is what real hospitality looks like, and we are incredibly grateful to the Fairfield .

From the moment we opened the door, we were impressed by how clean and fresh the room smelled. Every detail felt well cared for, and the beds were honestly some of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. We did have a mix-up with our reservation, but the hotel manager, Scott, went absolutely above and beyond to help us. He took the time to explain everything clearly—from breakfast and amenities to parking—and made us feel completely taken care of. His professionalism and kindness truly stood out. We were here with a hockey team for a tournament and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

Enjoyed our weekend stay. Pool is nice and warm...looks small.but you can get some good laps in. They only take credit card. Breakfast was good. Very comfy beds. Excellent location. No falls views but very close to everything. A little expensive $350 Canadian for 2 nights.

Great hotel for the price point! Recently renovated, comfy beds, clean spaces, decent breakfast, good location. Our favorite was the cubby window seating with the nice view. Staff also friendly and helpful. Gym is quite bare bones and near kitchen so could smell cooking while working out. We would likely stay here again!

The property was very clean, and you can tell they make an effort to keep things well maintained. The rooms were nice and comfortable, equipped with a mini fridge and microwave, which is always convenient for longer stays. The indoor pool was great, and the gym was well kept with only one machine out of order not a big deal. They also offer free breakfast for guests, which is a nice perk. One thing that stood out was the breakfast attendant placing a tip jar out by the condiments. Not necessarily a negative, just something I wasn’t expecting at a complimentary breakfast setup. There were a couple of downsides. The night shift at the front desk could definitely use some improvement in customer service. The interaction felt uncomfortable, almost like a scam call, with requests for more personal information than I’ve ever been asked for during a hotel stay. It didn’t leave the best impression. Also, the bathroom door in the room wasn’t aligned properly, making it difficult to close, so a little maintenance attention is needed there. You'll have to pay to park and it’s located outdoors across the street, so keep that in mind when planning your stay.
